L13 is a tanning liquid for making a soft mount. This is a flexible mount, that stays moveable, even after drying.
1. Use clean, slightly damp, tanned skins. For birds use L1 or L4. For mammals use L7 in combination with L8 or L9. Always read the instructions on the bottle.
2. Shake the L13 and apply with a brush. Thin skin, thin layer; thick skin thick layer. Avoid contact with fur or feathers.
3. Now mount the animal.
4. During the drying process, keep moving and bending the skin and limbs daily for 2 weeks.
